Anthony Davis is one of the best players in the league when takes things seriously and can stay healthy and consistent, still, there's a lot of bad rep he has gotten from the NBA media.

One big example is ESPN's Stephen A. Smith who has nicknamed the Lakers star "Six Flags," because of his inconsistency, and after the season opener loss where AD didn't score a single point in the second half, gave the analyst the reason.

But after the Lakers' win over the Phoenix Suns, Anthony Davis was able to bounce back, and is still on his way to being dominant on both ends of the court, and now has gotten ESPN's Kendrick Perkins hype with his performance.

Kendrick Perkins is now defending the Lakers big as he has a problem with anyone who has a problem with AD. "The Lakers don't have an AD problem. ... He has shown us time and time again that he's capable of rising to the occasion and getting things done."

Stephen A. Smith's counterpoint about Anthony Davis to Kendrick Perkins

"If Anthony Davis showed up on a night in, night out basis, the Lakers could win it all." Said Stephen A. Smith. The ESPN analyst has stated he believes AD is a great player but his inconsistency hurts him and his team.
