Even when the purple and gold reached the Western Conference Finals, the season ended with a failure as they got swept on it and didn't accomplish the ultimate goal, winning their 18th NBA championship title.
The good news is that the team's front office has a strong roster core to build a contending squad from it, and one of the positions the team needs is a size Center that can make Anthony Davis back to his forward position or at least have him on the court while AD is on the bench.
Naz Reid could be hitting free agency this summer, and the Lakers could get good use of him, and not only that, but Reid already has the seal of approval from the Los Angeles superstar LeBron James.
In the past, LeBron James wrote on his Twitter, "Naiz Reid got too much game!!" which will work in the Center's favor to get an offer from the purple and gold front office with the goal of the team winning another NBA championship ring.
If Naz Reid does arrive in Los Angeles to make him some space, one of the size Centers that current coach Darvin has could leave, or maybe more than one, as Mo Bamba, Wenyen Gabriel, and Tristan Thompson failed to help the team in the postseason run.
