After three losses in a row, and a 0-5 record for their on-the-road games, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to start turning things around, despite the several players that are out for the team this early in the campaign.
The worst news for the team came out of the game in Miami against the Heat when their superstar Anthony Davis left early due to a hip injury, despite his many attempts to make a return.
AD then sat out a Wednesday night game against the Houston Rockets that ended with a blowout loss that even had coach Ham sitting out his starters at the end of the third quarter and using rookies for the last quarter.
Tonight the Lakers will be debuting in the In-Season tournament at Phoenix and the team has released their injury report. Via ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "The Lakers list Anthony Davis (left hip) and Jaxson Hayes (left ankle) as questionable for Friday’s game in PHX, the first group-play game of LAL’s in-season tournament schedule."
Without five players from their roster, the Lakers could be playing again tonight if AD and Jaxson Hayes don't return for the game vs. the Phoenix Suns with a 9-man rotation, which hasn't worked for Ham's group.
