By James Brown
This NBA offseason has been a rollercoaster ride, with high signings and two main 'soap operas' going on with Damian Lillard and James Harden as free agents looking for a new team for the next season.
But the biggest headline of the past few years came from the Boston Celtics as they signed a 5-year 303 million deal with their star Jaylen Brown.
Brown became the NBA's highest-paid player with a 60 million per year salary, but the latest Lakers move has now overshadowed that contract with the recent max extension Pelinka has signed Anthony Davis.
The Lakers have signed a max extension of three years and 186 million to Anthony Davis, making him now the highest-paid NBA player with an annual salary of 62 million, two more than what Brown will be earning in Boston.
LeBron James is to this day the highest-paid player in the Lakers roster. But with this max extension, Anthony Davis now will be the highest-paid player on the team and all NBA.
