Opening night didn't go as expected for the purple and gold taking a loss, now their next stop is their home season opener vs. the Suns

The bad news continues for the Lakers as they lost the first game against the Denver Nuggets, fans weren't happy about it, LeBron James will play limited minutes compared to previous seasons and now the new injury update list doesn't help either.

The latest news regarding the Lakers' injured players has Jarred Vanderbilt dealing with left heel bursitis and is listed as out for tonight's game vs. Phoenix.

Jalen Hood-Schifino remains to be out as he will be re-evaluated on November 3, which means the rookie is out for several games and his NBA debut has been delayed.

The other bad news is that wing Cam Reddish is listed with right foot soreness, the good news is that he is listed as probable so will be seeing playing minutes vs. the Suns.

Anthony Davis needs to show up with LeBron James' limited minutes

Coach Darvin Ham has said that LeBron James will have limited playing time in games to have him in shape and not risk him. James wants to stay on the floor to lead the team to victories. Now is the time for Anthony Davis to lead the group and be consistent all season long.
