The NBA is one of the most significant sports leagues in the world. Still, even when Basketball is popular in other parts of the planet, it is usually the USA where it is the most consumed, and because of that, their player's salaries are some of the highest in sports.

But yesterday, some news broke on the internet and the sports world, as the French soccer superstar Kylian Mbappe got an offer from Saudi Arabia that shocked the NBA players, including LeBron James.

The Saudi Arabia football team Al-Hilal offered Mbappe a one-year 776 million salary, which would be unprecedented for any athlete worldwide. To put in context, how crazy of an offer is, LeBron James has made in all his 20 years in the NBA around 531 million.

But after hearing the offer to Mbappe, the Lakers trembled, as LeBron posted on his Twitter that he wouldn't hesitate to sign for a deal like that. Of course, he was joking, but LeBron posted a clip of Forrest Gump running extremely fast with the caption, "Me headed to Saudi when they call @richpaul4 & @mavcarter for that 1-year deal!"

Many NBA stars reacted to Mbappe's offer in Saudi Arabia

Not only LeBron joked on the matter, as Damian Lillard also reacted by posting: "1 year 776mm? Wtf lol..." Giannis also wanted part of the deal, even saying he looks like Mbappe. "Al Hilal, you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe." Even Draymond Green joked by saying they must have a Basketball league too.
