After the Los Angeles Lakers were swept by Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, there haven't been other thoughts on the Lakers players and fans than took out the bad taste of their mouths after the WCF series loss by defeating the champions.

The rematch will come as soon as the season opener for both NBA teams, but there's a stat that isn't on the Lakers side so the team will have to battle against it.

It has been 2,553 days since the Lakers won on opening night. The good news is that this purple and gold team feels different than the previous iteration, even so, that LeBron James and Anthony Davis feel confident of having a memorable 2023-24 NBA season.

Ever since Denver beat the Lakers in the WCF, their head coach and players haven't stopped talking about it, showing they are giving that win more importance than the NBA title itself. It will be interesting to see how the Lakers can respond on the court after all the disrespect they received in the summer.

The newest disrespect from Jamal Murray to LA

When asked about the Nuggets facing the bon Tuesday and if he's paid attention to any of the noise around it, the Denver star responded: "No... I just play basketball and have fun."
