The Lakers vs. Suns is the preseason last game, Coach Darvin Ham's plan revealed

This Thursday the LA Lakers are set to have their final preseason game vs. the Phoenix Suns ahead of the start of a new NBA season, 2023-24.

Despite being a preseason game, the LA Lakers aren't playing it like another preseason game, according to coach Darvin Ham, this will be their first regular season game, at least for the first three quarters.

Darvin Ham on the preseason finale: "We’re going to come in and play a real, normal, competitive basketball game and see how we fit together in long stretches."

Coach Ham has decided his starting five for the regular season, which means that this Thursday we could get our first glimpse of the official lineup that will be used against the Denver Nuggets in the season opener.

The Los Angeles Lakers will face their former head coach Frank Vogel

For the first time since the LA Lakers organization fired head coach Frank Vogel, the team will face their former coach for the first time. Vogel is now the coach of the Phoenix Suns.
