The Lakers big Christian Wood sent a message prior to the In-Season Tournament final, now that they are champions has sent a new one

"Win or go home," was the message Christian Wood sent on Saturday via his official X account. Almost 24 hours later he has sent a new message to the whole NBA now that the Los Angeles Lakers are the first-ever champions of the In-Season Tournament.

The Lakers got an impressive win over the Indiana Persons despite the best efforts of Tyrese Haliburton who has been impressive in the 2023-24 campaign, especially in the In-Season Tournament.

But Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and LeBron James all were impressive with a "game 7" mindset that took the purple and gold to take the win and now have become the first champions of the new NBA competition.

While it was a great win, is only a start for the team for their ultimate goal, winning the NBA title, and that was the message sent by Christian Wood, they are going for everything as he posted: "WIN. Job's not done though."

LeBron James explains his duo with Anthony Davis

"The only thing we're trying to do is hold each other accountable when we get to work and try to be the best we can be for each other, and when one is not going well, try to pick each other up. There's no jealousy. We're never jealous of one another. Ever."
