The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors are having a fierce series, with LeBron James and Stephen Curry front and center being two of the biggest superstars of the NBA.
But their rivalry goes beyond the court, as both players are some of the league's most popular and highest-paid stars. Stephen Curry has been in LeBron James' shadow and wants to go ahead of the King.
It seems impossible as James has a net worth of more than a billion dollars while Curry currently has a fortune of around 160 million, way behind the Laker's star money.
This year, LeBron James will continue to be the NBA's highest-paid athlete in 2023 with an estimate of 119.5 million, which makes him the 4th athlete of all sports with the highest-pay day in 2023, while Stephen Curry is the 8th overall athlete and the 2nd NBA highest paid athlete with 100.4 million.
In 10th place among the top ten highest-paid athletes of 2023, the third and last NBA star to appear is Kevin Durant, with 89.1 million. The three highest-paid NBA stars of the year are LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.
