The Los Angeles Lakers are eager to trade for an Indiana Pacers player, Myles Turner.

The Los Angeles Lakers finally started to make some moves during the off-season as they traded two players to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Patrick Beverley. This player helps the team on their defensive side of the ball, but they still need to fill some holes in their offense. According to Eric Pincus from Bleacher Report, the Lakers are ready to trade for Myles Turner.

There have been many reports linking the Indiana Pacers duo to the Los Angeles Lakers. Myles Turner and Buddy Hield would upgrade the roster substantially, as they are not only offensive players but they can also help as defenders. Right now, it seems a trade for Myles Turner is easier than a trade for both players.

Former NBA champion explains how the Lakers can win another ring

NBA insider believes Russell Westbrook can be a starter with the Lakers

"The Lakers are believed to covet Myles Turner from the Pacers, giving the team additional versatility up front with Anthony Davis, Thomas Bryant and Damian Jones. L.A. executive Rob Pelinka used to represent Buddy Hield and was close to acquiring the high-volume shooter last summer." explained Eric Pincus.

According to Pincus, Russell Westbrook would be part of the trade. "Per multiple external sources, Indiana isn't eager to part with its veteran players without significant compensation. The Lakers might be willing to give up a first-rounder in a Westbrook swap, but two may be too much for a deal," concluded the insider.

The two categories that Tuner and Hield upgrade

The Pacers duo of Myles Turner and Buddy Hield would upgrade the Lakers players, especially as Turner can help with blocks as he has averaged 2.8 during his career. And Buddy Hield can improve the team's 3-point shooting.
