The Messi fandom is crazier than LeBron's when celebrating a championship title

The whole planet went nuts this past Sunday with Argentina's victory over France. Still, more than the country, millions of fans celebrated the win because of a single superstar Leonel Messi.

Messi is, for many people, the Football Soccer's GOAT, and now that he has won the only championship left for him to win, there is no longer a question about it.

James is also considered the NBA GOAT and has an intense fandom that always defends him no matter what; they are wild and crazy, but Messi fans may be worst in their passion and love for the superstar.

Both athletes also have some of the worst detractors

With Messi's win, he finally shut out most of his detractors that said he wasn't a leader and couldn't make his national team win a world cup, which has ended. LeBron James has nothing to prove for most, but for his detractors, he still needs two more NBA championships to tie Michael Jordan, who won 6 and is currently considered the league's GOAT.
