The Lakers' offseason is currently one of the best any NBA team has pulled off in the last couple of years. At least on paper, but two underrated pickups could have a breakout season.
Cam Reddish is a young promising talent who hasn't received enough opportunities, This could change with the purple and gold, as assistant coach Phil Handy is working with him to bring his best game.
Also, LeBron James having the same position and being known to be a great mentor could help bring Reddish his best game and probably have his best NBA year in his still short career. The Lakers signed Redish for two years and 4.5 million.
Another underrated and interesting signing was Christian Wood, who signed for two years and 5.7 million, as the league gave up on him, but not the purple and gold, as Anthony Davis and coach Darvin Ham have worked with him before and believe in making him work with the team.
The Lakers fans are excited for the upcoming season, especially after the team's depth compared to how the last campaign was looking since the beginning. The team's roster is probably the deepest currently in the league.
