By James Brown
Even when the LA Lakers turned things around after one of their worst starts in franchise history with a 2-10 record in a regular season, the team made it into the Western Conference Finals.
The Lakers faced the Denver Nuggets and were swept in four games, but the reality is that each match was winnable by LA, but some mistakes prevented it from happening.
Now, one of the players that significantly helped the Nuggets win, Bruce Brown, has opened up about the mindset the Denver player had facing the Lakers, showing LA's greatness as no other NBA franchise can generate.
Brown said that the Nuggets vs. Lakers WCF series was personal for them; he even said that he doesn't know why, but even the two times MVP winner Nikola Jokic "wasn't playing no games" with the Lakers and showing the purple and gold's greatness even when they got swept.
Brown became a free agent this offseason and was close at one point to being part of the Lakers, but GM Pelinka had a strategy that worked fine without signing the former Denver Nuggets champ.
