The Lakers were swept by the Nuggets in the last WCF but now D'Angelo Russell knows how to beat them next season

The Los Angeles Lakers turned around what was looking to be a doomed season and made it to the WCF surprising everyone, still, they weren't able to defeat Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

LA has now upgraded and is ready for the next campaign, and things are looking good for the purple and gold, and now, D'Angelo Russell believes the Lakers will defeat the Nuggets thanks to Bruce Brown no longer being on Denver's roster.

“Losing Bruce Brown hurt them, losing Bruce Brown hurt them though. Nah, he [Christian Braun] is solid, but Bruce Brown is unpredictable bro. He could go 3-of-5 from the 3, play point guard, get you in the bonus, and shoot 10-12 free throws. He’s just a problem, I think. I think any team that wants and appreciates him, he’s only going to get better, respect.” Said Russell.

The Lakers want some payback, especially after the mockery the Nuggets coach Michael Malone had against them. The next season will be the perfect time to have a payback as coach Ham said, it ain't over yet.

The Lakers vs Nuggets will be interesting for the next season

However, the Nuggets are still the defending champions and the early favorites heading into next season. It’ll be interesting to see how significant of a loss Brown is through the regular season and postseason, as well as if someone can fill that hole.
