The former Lakers champion Dwight Howard had two workouts with the Warriors but reports have them passing on the big man, this is his reaction

The news broke that the former Lakers champion in 2020 the big man Dwight Howard had a chance to return to the NBA with the Golden State Warriors, as both parties were set to meet and have workouts.

Despite the possibility of landing in a rival franchise, some part of the Lakers fanbase was excited to see the possibility of Howard returning to the NBA, as many still wanted the Lakers to sign the center.

Howard had a couple of workouts with the Warriors alongside two of their stars, Draymond Green and Chris Paul, but reports by NBA insider Shams Charania have the Golden State passing on signing Howard and the big man has now reacted to it with a cryptic message on his official X (Twitter) account:

"Only as a WARRIOR can one withstand the path of knowledge. A WARRIOR cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge. And challenges cannot possibly be good or bad. Challenges are simply challenges. Go be GR8."

Howard still hopes to return to the NBA

Despite not being picked up by the Warriors, other teams are still interested in signing him, so Howard could have an opportunity to be back as the experienced vet he is.
