Every year the NBA players get to vote anonymously on who they think is the most overrated player in the NBA, the best defender, the worst referee, and especially on who they believe is the greatest player of all time.

There is no surprise that in the greatest of all time category, two Lakers players show up: the late legend Kobe Bryant and the current superstar LeBron James.

Other names that showed up in the poll are Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, and Tracy McGrady, and this year, in 2023, the NBA players have voted that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time.

MJ had a total of 58.3% of the votes while a no-so-distant second place is LeBron James, who got the 33% of the votes and Kobe Bryant is long third place with 6.8% while they are followed by Bill Russell and Tracy McGrady with less than 5% each.
