One of the best things to come out of the Lakers' great offseason is the fact that the team has depth in their roster, and coach Ham will be able to have different options for his starting five lineups and team rotations.

At the moment it has been reported that the starting five for Coach Ham will be D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James.

Out of those five, two can change, as Gabe Vincent will be looking to bench D'Angelo Russell to become the PG starter. But also Rui Hachimura could be going back to the bench, as he will be competing with the previous starter, Jarred Vanderbilt.

Both wings bring different things to the court, both are valuable and both know they will be competing for the starting role, and because of that, they have been seen in Greece putting up the work with assistant coach Phil Handy.

Recent reports have coach Ham having Hachimura as the starter

Because of what Rui Hachimura was capable of pulling off in the last playoffs, he not only has earned the privilege of beginning the season as the starter but he also was re-signed with a 3-year 51 million contract with the team.
