Even when most of the NBA media and fans think there is a 90% chance that LeBron James will be back for the next season and wearing the purple and gold jersey, a certain answer has yet to be given.
James gave a cryptic message after the Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets that hinted at the possibility of thinking about retiring after the outrageous outcome in the Western Conference Finals.
LeBron James' agent is following his client's cryptic path, refusing to confirm that the Los Angeles Lakers superstar will continue his playing career. Cleveland.com asked Rich Paul of Klutch Sports if he expects James to suit up for the 2023-24 NBA season, and the answer was as vague as it could be.
"I have an expectation just as you do," Paul said. "We'll see." This is the final answer until LeBron James reveals what he plans next for his career. But he will unlikely retire without playing alongside his son Bronny or on a farewell tour.
Paul has represented James for about 20 years. The Klutch CEO, who was in the Cleveland area on Friday to promote a new apparel store, said the NBA legend is decompressing in the French Riviera.
