The final reason why Chris Paul chose the Lakers is surprising for the Clippers

The NBA offseason is here, and many teams have already started to make some movements in their roster, and while the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka and coach Darvin Ham have stated they are already working on the next campaign, not a single movement has been made.

But there have been a lot of rumors and reports that have the front office wanting to sign Chris Paul for the vet minimum, and while it seemed like a big stretch and the Clippers were looking closer to signing the experienced PG, there's a reason why CP3 would choose the Lakers over the Clippers.

According to NBA analyst JJ Redic, Paul's only option to win a championship title before he retires is with the purple and gold, as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are their best fit for him.

"With Chris Paul's level of intelligence, LeBron [James], and his ability to play pick-and-roll with Anthony Davis... If I'm Chris and I'm like, 'Where can I [win] a championship?'... To me, it feels more like the Lakers." Said Redick.
