The Taiwan Basketball league is making some important signings from NBA veterans, two former Lakers are in talks to join that league

First, it was announced that the Taoyuan Leopard will sign Dwight Howardard in Taiwan, as the former Lakers chose to go and play there because he felt that no one was willing to give him another shot would the NBA. His last NBA team was the Lakers.

Now it seems that another veteran and former Lakers player isn't finding a new team in the league and could be making the jump overseas and also going to Taiwan, but to play with the SG Ghosthawks, which be Carmelo Anthony.

More Lakers news:

This news is sad because it is the end of an era. To see Melo, who still had a lot to give in the NBA, go to Taiwan to play there in his last years as a professional and not be seen anymore in the league is a shame.

And this also ends the hope of some Lakers fans that wanted Melo to make a comeback this season with the team, even when the FO didn't offer him an extension, and he became a free agent.

From teammates to rivals in another league

With Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony going to Taiwan to continue their respective careers as basketball players, they will come from being Lakers teammates to rivals in the league Taiwan.
