The Los Angeles Lakers Japanese wing Rui Hachimura recently re-signed with the Lakers for a 3-year 51 million deal, not only bringing him back for more seasons but also set to become a starter.
In the previous season, Hachimura showed some significant improvement from the regular season to the playoffs, and most have to do with the new most outstanding Lakers duo, the one that the assistant coach Phil Handy and the wing Rui Hachimura have been making.
While both don't play together, Hachimura's game level has significantly increased thanks to Handy, and this offseason, both have been putting up the work, getting ready for what's to come.
Rui Hachimura is locked in to help the team win the next NBA championship, as he has been hard working out, even quitting to play with the Japanese National Basketball team in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Vanderbilt went to Japan and has also been seen doing work with Phil Handy, just like Rui Hachimura. Coach Ham has said that he is doing everything possible for the next season to become the new NBA champion.
