The Lakers have a must-win game tonight against the Mavs; the good news is that they will also be missing their superstar

Not only will the Lakers be missing LeBron James, their best player, but the Dallas Maverick also will be having out some players, as their latest updated injury list is loaded.

The Dallas Mavericks will be down star Luka Doncic against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, and fellow All-Star guard Kyrie Irving is listed as questionable with a foot injury.

JaVale McGee, Markieff Morris, and Tim Hardaway Jr. are also questionable for Friday's contest. But without a doubt, their most significant loss is Doncic.

Both teams will have a sensitive absence but will have their second-best player available. Anthony Davis for the Lakers and Kyrie Irving for the Mavericks, even though the latter is still questionable.

If the Lakers win, they will tie the Dallas Mavericks' record

Both teams are close competitors in the Western Conference standings, and the Mavs are just a win away from the purple and gold. However, if LA wins tonight, both teams will be tied record-wise with 35-36 each.
