The Los Angeles Lakers now have two back-to-back wins, this past Friday, they won against the Denver Nuggets, and this Sunday night, they did it again by defeating the Washington Wizards.

The bad news was that Anthony Davis would be off the court for at least a month after suffering a left ankle injury on Friday night and leaving the game early in the first quarter.

The good news is that the Lakers won both games, thanks to Thomas Bryand and especially Austin Reaves, who keeps showing that he is the best team player after AD and LeBron.

Reaves is all heart, and he suffered an injury, but as opposed to Davis, who is known to be a ‘fragile’ player, Austin returns to the game. After the victory, he answered an interviewer that he would play tomorrow even if he were still injured.

What Austin Reaves said about playing injured

Austin Reaves said he intends to play through the ankle soreness tomorrow, but the medical staff will surely see how it responds overnight; the Lakers will be flying to Phoenix tomorrow to face the Suns. Reaves said his parents taught him early on that if you can play through something, that’s what you do.
