To have a successful career in the NBA, not only natural talent is needed, but also the right mindset, the best example of that is the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant who, with his "Mamba mentality," was able to become one of the greatest players of all time.

But the current generation of talent in the NBA seems to forget that, as many are involved in scandals and controversies, like the Grizzlies star Ja Morant who once again was seen holding a gun in an Instagram live video which will make the NBA suspend him.

Another example is the New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson who was off the court due to many injuries. Still, he has been in the headlines after posting that he will become a father, but controversy happened when many women started to post about his porn and sex addiction.

The same can't be said of the Lakers wing who had a breakout performance in the playoffs for LA, Rui Hachimura, who is teaching both young stars a lesson on how to focus on the game and have the right mindset with a video the star shared on his Tik Tok of what he does in a day, he works out in the gym, works out basketball and also has fun playing video games. Still, everything with the mentality of giving his best as a basketball professional is something Morant and Zion should learn from Rui.

The Lakers have Rui Hachimura as a top priority for the next season

The Los Angeles Lakers front office is currently building their roster for the next season, and one of their top priorities for the next campaign is to bring back the Japanese Wing Hachimura, who is set to be earning around 15 to 18 million per year.
