The Lakers are going against the tide with a 2-5 record after five consecutive losses, now after two victories, they are back on the right track, but that almost didn't happen, as the clock marked 1.5 seconds left on the game on Wednesday's night against the Pelicans and being 3 points under.

But Matt Ryan jumped off the bench, received a pass from Austin Reaves, and without hesitating, he threw the ball for a 3-pointer that tied the game and made it go over time. The Lakers won that night, and Ryan became the unlikely hero.

Another incredible job Ryan did before playing with the Los Angeles Lakers was as a doordash driver. He was unknown until Wednesday night, as he shares the name of the NFL Colts Quarterback.

Coach Ham's strategy worked out with his fair share of luck

In the post-game presser after the second victory for the Lakers, coach Darvin Ham talked about the 3-pointer buzzer-beater scored by Matt Ryan. He said they had luck it worked out even when they had that played prepared, but it was all thanks to a great pass from Austin Reaves and Ryan scoring the shot.
