It has been a long season for the Los Angeles Lakers, they are in the middle of it right now, and with a 19-22 record, things haven't gone according to plan, and the franchise at the moment looks like a hospital with most of the stars out due to injuries.
Every season it gets more evident that Jeanie Buss is not the right owner for the franchise; at least, that's what most fans think, especially old-time fans that remember the times when his father, Dr. Jerry Buss, was in charge.
Some of these fans had expressed online how they missed the days when Dr. Jerry ran the team; as he knew how to get a deal done and capitalize on the opportunity, he went for it!
It was opposed to what Jeanie Buss and GM Rob Pelinka do, needing ten people to approve it first. This was showcased by the resignation of Magic Johnson, who expressed that feeling of not having the power of choice and having to go to the opinions of people that don't care about the team.
With Jeanie Buss clearly having other things in mind, as she has different businesses and interests, and now also being engaged, she should give the ownership to her brothers Jesse and Joe, who have been doing great in the scouting department, one of the few best sides of the franchise, as recently proven by the discovery of the young rookie and talented promise Max Christie.
