The message that Jaxson Hayes sent on and off the court shows he's ready to help the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers signed two centers this offseason to help Anthony Davis on the five position, out of the two, Jaxson Hayes has shown better things and left a good impression over Christian Wood.

Hayes is 23 years old and has still a lot of room to improve, now that he has shown his value on the court in both ends, as he has been good on the defensive end at the same that in the offensive side, has also sent a message.

"I'm just here to play good defense, guard the rim," said Jaxson Hayes, which is a good message to send, especially as Hayes and Wood have been side to be the backup from Anthony Davis and to play alongside him when he isn't in the five position.

Against the Suns in the last preseason game, Hayes scored seven points and had three rebounds, one block, and one steal, it wasn't his best game, but doing that in 13 minutes of playtime was still impressive and more than what Wood did in 15 minutes.

While isn't expecting to have too much playing time, by not being part of the team's rotation, Colin Castleton has been impressive, as he scored against Phoenix 9 points, in ten minutes of playtime with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and one block.
