In recent years the NBA has found itself with a dilemma, more and more stars have been trying to avoid playing "too much" and have found excuses to rest and do load management.
But the NBA board is now trying to find a solution for that, so the league has voted and approved new rules that will try to avoid two starts from skipping games.
These rules are for respecting the fans who pay a ticket to watch their favorite stars, only to discover they won't be playing to avoid injuries or rest. But one Lakers star that won't be affected by this new rest policy is LeBron James.
With information via Bobby Marks "Stars who are 35 years old by the season opener, or who have tallied up 34,000 regular-season minutes or a total of 1,000 combined regular-season and playoff games, will receive prior load management approval from the league." LeBron James is 38 years old and has more than 1,000 playing minutes.
Despite LeBron James not being affected by the new NBA rules. The league has revealed a list of teams with multiple stars and the Lakers appear on the list. Anthony Davis could be the one to be affected the most.
