The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James didn't have the participation he expected in the 2023 NBA All-Star game, as he got injured in the 2nd quarter and had to miss the 2nd half.

LeBron James tried to defend on one play, and that's when he tried to block Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and one of his fingers got trapped on the rim.

But besides everything that happened with LeBron, Shai has opened up about that moment and how he felt about being blocked by the arguably NBA GOAT in the All-Star game.

Gilgeous-Alexander, who was on team Giannis for the game, said, "(LeBron) wasn't playing no defense, and then the one time I tried to get a dunk, he wanna play defense. I got something for that next time, though."

LeBron James gave an optimistic update on his injury

After the All-Star game, even when the Lakers organization and fans got concerned about their superstar LeBron James getting a hand injury, the forward was able to talk to the press and said that sitting out of the 2nd half was just precautionary. He isn't concerned about having to miss games because of the injury.
