The players that Ham doesn't want anymore, this is his plan for the next season

The Los Angeles Lakers had a busy 24 hours in the free agency market; the roster saw some changes; some players were added to the team, some have parted ways with the team, and others won't be needed anymore by coach Darvin Ham.

Troy Brown Jr., Dennis Schröder, and Lonnie Walker had to find a new "home" as LA didn't have more space for them. Brown Jr. signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Shröder got a salary upgrade with a new deal with the Toronto Raptors, and Walker is now a new star for the Brooklyn Nets.

Meanwhile, Wenyen Gabriel, Tristan Thompson, Malik Beasley, and Mo Bamba are no longer on the team but are still looking for a new squad to play for or for the Lakers to re-sign them, especially Beasley and Bamba.

But it seems that none of those four players are required anymore by Darvin Ham, and the one that has the chance to be back is Bamba, as the team is only looking for a center, and the market for a big one isn't much in this free agency. Mo could be the exception and be re-signed by Ham and LA.

The Lakers plan for the next season

Currently, the team's roster has 13 players, and the plan, according to NBA insider Jovan Buha, is for coach Ham to start the season with 14 players, having one available to use in the future. Also, they have three players with a two-way contract. The last spot out of those fourteen is for a big center. They are still looking at the free agency market.
