The Los Angeles Lakers have  a deep and strong roster, but there's a big concern the fans have, especially after what happened in the preseason

Overall, the team looked great, but all the preseason there was a rising concern the purple and gold have, and the final game ahead of the start of the 2023-24 NBA season didn't help, and that is the head coach Darvin Ham.

Ham has now an incredibly built roster, but he doesn't know what he is doing with it and it became evident in the second half of the preseason finale vs. the Phoenix Suns.

Darvin sent his second unit without a playmaker, the team lost the game 123-100 after the starters had the lead until they went to the bench to rest for the remainder of the contest. The backcourt was handled by Cam Reddish and Max Christie, the experiment failed and the fans are worried Ham doesn't know what to do with his roster. The good news is that PG Gabe Vincent and Jarred Vanderbilt weren't available.

Jaxson Hayes has been a revelation unlike Christian Wood

Wood has proved once again he can't defend and now cost the Lakers the loss, despite being just a preseason game. Jaxson Hayes has been the standout between the two bigs and could get the advantage and a bigger role over Christian.
