The Lakers owner has recently shared some news that shows why her focus is outside making Los Angeles Lakers again and forgetting his father's legacy

The Los Angeles Lakers have been suffering and struggling for a long time, even when in 2020 they were able to win a championship, and one of the main reasons has been the disinterest shown by Jeanie Buss in the franchise.

Since Jeanie's father, Dr. Jerry Buss, bought the franchise, the family has won eleven championships ever since, the most any franchise can get.

TMZ Sports has confirmed that Jeanie Buss and comedian-actor Jay Mohr, after being a couple for several years, recently took their relationship to the next level after the comedian proposed. Buss and Mohr are excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

The clues were there. Recently, Jeanie has been spotted wearing a ring on that finger, and sources close to the couple confirmed they are engaged. It is a no-brainer that, after several years of her life, focusing on the Lakers franchise is no longer a priority.

Jeanie Buss and GM Rob Pelinka should leave the franchise

Without their focus on prioritizing the Lakers franchise to win another championship soon, the LA owner Jeanie Bus and the GM Rob Pelinka should take a step aside and sell the franchise or make another Buss the owner so the family can honor the legacy created by Dr. Jerry Buss.
