In what is becoming a repeat season after season, Anthony Davis is set to be the best player on the team, only to step aside once again between his inconsistency and being injury-prone, only for LeBron James to take over and carry the group.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Portland Trail-Blazers, but once again the main standout was LeBron James who had another monster night while AD had a good night but not what he is known to be capable of.

Anthony Davis said that he's feeling "alright" physically. "It still bothers me but I try to go out there and compete. Not being who I am offensive, shots not falling, the leaping ability isn't back to where it was, but I try to make up for it on the defensive end and try to impact the game other than scoring. But at the end of the day, if we win basketball games, I'll figure the rest out."

AD should stop playing and risk himself until he is fully recovered to avoid past mistakes just like in the last season where he played through his injury instead of fully recovering.
