The Los Angeles Lakers needed a win to celebrate one of his greatest players, the superstar LeBron James, who showed that 38 years old, for him, is like turning 28 years old, as he went on to have a monster performance by scoring 47 points against the Atlanta Hawks this past Friday night.
LeBron said he told Dennis Schröder before the game that he was feeling it, and he was getting 40 that night. He finished with 47.
But the secret behind his outstanding performance was not only that he was celebrating his 38 birthday or sending a message to the Lakers front office, but he had extra motivation that night with his mom and wife being courtside.
Since Juan Toscano-Anderson's return from his long absence due to an injury, he has been a valuable player for coach Ham's team in the last two games, providing the required size and defense.
