The LA Lakers superstar LeBron James is having his year 20 in the NBA and is currently playing in the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
James, at 38 years old, isn't stopping as he continues to display some of the best basketball in the league despite his age and being injured from his right foot.
The 2023 NBA Draft Lottery is officially on the books, and the San Antonio Spurs defied the odds to come away with the No. 1 overall selection. Instead, they will pick the French prospect, sensation Victor Wenbayama.
A possible trade could happen, and the Warriors star Draymond Green has his opinion on the possibility of the Lakers trading LeBron James to get Wembanyama.
"I'm not sure how many [players wouldn't be dealt for Wembanyama], but there's definitely a few," Green said on the latest episode of his podcast. "LeBron wouldn't be. Steph [Curry] wouldn't be. I don't think Luka [Doncic] would be; Joker (Nikola Jokic) wouldn't be. I think there are a few more names out there. So, let's just say for the sake of standard roster spots — 450 spots, 435, 440 — would be, which is saying a lot." Said Green on the chances of the Lakers trading his superstar for the prospect.
