The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been called different names throughout his twenty years of career in the NBA, nicknames like “The kid from Akron”, “The chosen one”, and “The King”, and this former Lakers player, now he can be named “Hero.”

At the moment, one of the closes friends of LeBron James is jobless after playing the last season with the purple and gold, and now he can't find a new team to play with in the about-to-start campaign.

But Carmelo Anthony opened up recently about how James saved his life. Melo talks about how he was on the ocean, and the current was taking him opposite the boat; the water was almost to his head, and then he saw LeBron jumping into the sea.

LeBron carried Melo with one hand and brought him back safely into the boat. In a recently released video, Melo says: “He saved my life.” He even called him and said it was like James was Macgyverwhen he saw him jump.

Carmelo Anthony is a free agent now, and he is waiting for an NBA franchise that needs his game to contact him and sign him for the coming season, as he still thinks about having a lot to offer and isn't thinking about retirement yet.
