In tonight's game against the Orlando Magic, the Lakers will have five absences, Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, rookie Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Gabe Vincent.
Max Christie got his opportunity last contest vs. the Clippers, he gave an okay performance but will be having another chance tonight, as he will be part of the 8-player team rotation with all the absences in the team.
But the rookie Maxwell Lewis could also be seeing minutes, it depends on coach Ham's decision and how the game is going for both teams but could get an opportunity to showcase what he's got on the top basketball level.
With Jalen Hood-Schifino's absence, Lewis is the next top rookie the Lakers have, besides their three two-way players. In the preseason, some fans liked more what they saw of Lewis than Schifino, but both are still away from making their official debut in the NBA.
With five absences, and the team being limited, the two-way rookies Colin Castleton, D'Moi Hodge, and Alex Fudge could tag along with the team and make the trip to Orlando to see some minutes in case necessary.
