The Los Angeles Lakers may have been swept in the Western Conference Finals and eliminated. However, for many fans, the season wasn't a complete disappointment, especially with the talent already on the roster.

One of the squad's most promising young players is Max Christie, who only had a few playing minutes to show more of his talent but is already making the fans feel optimistic about the team's future.

According to some reports, those inside the Lakers organization are very excited about what Christie will offer, especially his potential to shoot from a distance.

Max will be playing the Summer League with the Lakers to continue growing and improving his game and get more minutes and experience. After that, it is up to coach Darvin Ham for next season to get more use of him and not let him waste away.

Cole Swider & Scotty Pippen Jr. are question marks for the team

At the moment, there hasn't been much talk about what is going to happen with the other two Lakers rookies of the season, Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr., as both have great potential but didn't have much time to show themselves in the NBA and had a more prominent role with South Bay.
