They are two Lakers legends, this is what separates Kobe Bryant and LeBron James

Kobe Bryant is the greatest Lakers player of all time, no question about it, but LeBron James is making the franchise to be back to its old glory days, D'Angelo Russell got the opportunity of playing with both legends, and he has opened up about what differentiates the two of them.

In his first stint with the purple and gold, D-Lo was able to share the locker room and court with the Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and now that he is back to have a second stint, he has shared the locker room and court with the current LA's legend LeBron James.

For Russell the difference is clear, LeBron James has more fun with the game and Kobe took it more seriously. "I'll just go from an aura perspective. Bron's more involved with everybody, with everything, on the bus he's social, on the plane he's social, he's more social. When I was with Kobe, I sat next to him on the plane and watched him, and just studied him, and just chilled next to him. He never talked, he was real to himself, but um, you know when you walk in a room, everybody's talking and then somebody walks in, quiet. He had that about him, like everywhere he where, wherever he went, everybody just stopped, but he embraced it and um, that's the only difference."

While Russell didn't exactly pick who is the better in particular, it seems that he enjoys a little bit more, LeBron's approach of being more social as it helps to improve the team's overall game than just one player.

The Lakers have their starting five ready for seascon opener

With Jarred Vanderbilt currently being day-to-day with his heel injury, coach Darvin Ham has revealed his starting five for the season opener against the Denver Nuggets. D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Taurean Prince, LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Rui Hachimura will have a coming off the bench role.
