The LA Clippers are still away from winning their first NBA championship title, the closest they were in the 2020 championship, but it became anormal as the bpandemic happened and the bubble became the solution.
Many Clippers players and former Clipper stars believe they should've won the title if it wasn't because of the bubble, and even when it has happened more than three years, they can't let go.
The Lakers ended up earning the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, with the Clippers getting the No. 2 seed, and LeBron James and company eventually won the title over the Miami Heat in six games.
Via From The Point Podcast, Lou Williams says the Clippers would have won the championship if Covid stoppage never happened. “I think we win the championship if COVID doesn’t happen… I think I was in the bubble 97 days…[by] day 67, I was like ‘let’s get the F*** out of here’”
The new Milwaukee Bucks star, Damian Lillard recently said that he doesn't understand why many underestimate the championship bubble won by the Lakers, as he considers everyone was on their best level and it was harder for the Lakers to win it.
