The Los Angeles Lakers are about to start the 2022-2023 season and are doing it with one terrible news already, which is making fans pessimistic and think of it as a repeat of the awful last campaign.
What was set to be a remarkable comeback to the team for the German Point Guard Dennis Schröder after a strong performance in the EuroBasket tournament has become a nightmare that doesn't seem to stop.
Schröder missed most of training camp and the Lakers preseason, and he injured his thumb with just one participation without good performance. And now the worst update has been released.
The Lakers coach Darvin Ham says that the Lakers guard Dennis Schröder will undergo surgery on his injured thumb and miss three-to-four weeks.
Some fans on Twitter have responded to the news, and comments like: “I knew we should not have signed him back” and be read in different comment sections. Others can't believe Dennis' bad luck and say that now they will hear: “Wait til Schröder starts playing.” Also, fans are asking why this always happens to the lakers. Fans are sad and want the player to be released.
