It looks like the Los Angeles Lakers are back and ready to give it all to be a serious contender for the championship this season; the most crucial thing this week is that it seems they have learned their lesson.

After losing on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers with a last-second 3-point shot after blowing a lead of 17 points, the purple and gold have made a comeback and now have two wins in a row, one of them on the road and against one of the strongest teams in the league.

In the final quarter, with a minute and fifteen seconds in the clock left to play, in a ball that seemed lost for the Lakers, Westbrook poured his heart and battled for the ball, even throwing himself to the ball; he won it, LeBron took it and then gave it to AD to make a dunk that gave the final lead to the team.

Russ needs to stay on the team. Although even in most of the games, he has many turnovers, he showed what he could do this Friday night. Russ and LeBron had zero turnovers; they played a perfect match and won.

The team finally played like a team on both ends

It seems that HC Darvin Ham asked for is finally paying off, as he wanted everyone to be patient and to see what they were working on, and now it is starting to show. The Lakers are finally playing like a team, defending tremendously and improving their offense, as they just defeated the season's best defense.
