In a move that shocked Lakers fans, after they were content with how the roster was looking with the 3-team trade between Los Angeles, Utah, and Minnesota, GM Rob Pelinka traded Thomas Bryant, the C that has been one of the best surprises for the team.
Now Bryant has been traded to the Nuggets while the Lakers received the SG Davon Reed and three second-round picks, according to information by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
There are rumors that GM Rob Pelinka is cooking something grander and that he isn't done making trades, as it doesn't make sense to release Bryant and keep a player like Beverley, which has yet to improve the team as the C did.
But now, with Davon Reed, the three second-round picks, and Beverley Pelinka, could be preparing that package to get a significant move that can significantly surprise the Lakers Nation.
In another twist around Thomas Bryant's trade, a new rumor has surfaced that says that the C himself requested his trade. Of course, this could be because he needed to have more playing time. Still, Pelinka seems to be cooking a new move before the trade deadline happens tonight.
