While the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for a big player to have as a backup when Anthony Davis is unavailable now that Mo Bamba is injured, the former purple and gold Thomas Bryant isn't having the playtime he wanted.

Before the trade deadline, Thomas Bryant requested a trade from the Lakers as he wanted more playing time. Currently, he is playing for the No. 1 seed of the Western Conference, so he is in a playoff team, but it didn't work out for him.

With the Lakers, Bryant averaged 21.4, 12.1 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 65.4 FG%, while with the Nuggets, he averaged only 11.6 Minutes Per Game with 4.4 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 45.1 FG%.

In retrospect, Bryant would have been better if he had stayed with the Lakers instead of requesting a trade. The Lakers need a significant role player, and he would've fit that role.

The Lakers are looking for a size free-agent player

The Lakers recently worked out a couple of free agents to see what is out there, and they are looking to get a size player as a backup after the embarrassing loss to the Rockets.
