According to the ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins, there's a duo that could dominate the NBA; he has chosen the perfect player to pair him up with AD

The Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis, one of the most dominant duos in the entire league. Still, ESPN's analyst Kendrick Perkins thinks that there's a player that, if he can arrive in LA, could make the best defensive duo with AD of all time.

Anthony Davis, by himself, when healthy and in prime mode, is one of the best defensive players of the NBA, there's no question about it, but for Perkins, now that the news has revealed that Draymond Green declined the 27M option from the Warriors, there's a chance to create the best defensive duo of the league.

Perkins said, "AD x Draymond would be one of if not the greatest defensive duo's the NBA has ever seen. Exactly what it will take to stop Jokic and the Nuggets moving forward."

The good news is that one day after the news broke of Green declining the offer, the still Warriors star was seen in France alongside no other than the Lakers superstar LeBron James, which is making many believe that James is trying to convince Green to put the purple and gold jersey.

Anthony Davis needs to put up the work to stay healthy

Even when the Lakers bring a big name, whoever it is, Draymond Green, Chris Paul, Trae Young, etc. LA needs to have Anthony Davis fully healthy for most of the season; the star needs to work to play most of the 82 regular season games and beyond.
