Los Angeles Lakers have a strong roster that they are looking to enhance with a couple of movements, but there's one in particular that could bring more than just an experienced talent but could amp up Anthony Davis to get his best version back.
AD hasn't been the same after the purple and gold won the 2020 Championship title, as he has been injured and affected by that, like a hand injury hurt his 3-point shooting.
Davis has failed to be his best self, which has hurt the team, but the latest movement planned by the front office of signing Chris Paul with the minimum vet could be incredibly beneficial for Coach Ham's squad.
Not only experience and talent will be able Chris Paul give, but his playing style will help to maximize Anthony Davis to bring his best version; of course, it will depend on the star's ability to stay healthy for most of the season.
Part of plan A for the Lakers of signing Chris Paul is to bring back D'Angelo Russell and, with both players, truly improve their PG position. Dennis Schröder's fate could be up in the air with this move.
