One of the things that separated the late Kobe Bryant and made him one of the greatest of all time in the NBA was his mindset, nicknamed the "mamba mentality."
Kobe keeps inspiring upcoming NBA players and kids everywhere. Still, recently the former player Gilbert Arenas opened up about how to face Bryant and his particular reason for bringing his best game and winning over the Lakers legend.
Arenas remembered a game where he could outdo Kobe and defeat him and the Lakers, something that wasn't common, as Bryant was already a feared superstar.
"I walked into the locker room late and was like, 'Yo! I just f***** scored 60, bro. 60 on f****** Kobe Bryant.' Coach says, 'And we won the game.' Man, f*** the game; you know how much p*ssy I'm going to get now?!" It seems that for Gilbert, all was down to having his way with the ladies and not winning a championship title like most NBA players.
According to the big Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal, his duo with Kobe Bryant not only was special, but he believes they got figured out the best of them and became the most dominant duo of all time, even over LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
