Not everyone is happy with the Lakers signing Tristan Thompson and having him reunite with LeBron James after their stint with the Cavs.

Today Thompson had his first practice with the purple and gold, and he stayed after it to have some post-practice free throws with other players that usually are at the team's bench, like Mo Bamba, Max Christie, Scotty Pippen Jr., and Cole Swider.

But fans are asking why the Lakers coach Darvin Ham and the front office preferred signing Thompson over players like DeMarcus Cousins. Some even preferred Dwight Howard, who is currently in Taiwan.

The Lakers went to Thompson because of his previous chemistry with LeBron James and probably aren't planning on using him too much at the playoffs but just as a backup as Mo Bamba remains to be at the roster.

LeBron James loves the current Lakers' roster

Everything had changed for the Lakers after the trade deadline, especially LeBron James, who before that was seen to be frustrated and even kept sending a message to the front office and fans. Still, after the organization delivered, he loved his current teammates. James said on the team: "I love my teammates, and I fell in love with them even more when I wasn't playing."
