By James Brown
Ever since the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2023 playoffs first round in the last campaign, Dillon Brooks has been trying to make himself a rival of NBA superstar LeBron James.
James is one of the greatest players in the sport of all time, he continues to be active and currently is in his year 21 in the league at 38 years old almost 39, but he isn't stopping anytime soon as his performances are showing he is just as dominant as ever.
Still, the Lakers superstar keeps receiving disrespect from Dillon Brooks, who poked the bear with the Grizzlies and backfired him, now that he is with the Houston Rockets he hasn't stopped, the most recent comment was that he was going to spot LeBron, it didn't happen.
James led the Lakers to take the win at home with an outstanding performance scoring 37 points, with 14/19 FG, 2/5 3-pointers, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. LeBron even at one point made a bucket while being fouled by Brooks who was only capable of pulling his shirt, as the Lakers star showed his superiority despite his age.
The Lakers beat the Houston Rockets with LeBron James scoring a free throw that followed a great performance, in the post-game presser, Rui Hachimura gave the reason he believes is Brooks's intentions, to be part of James legacy. “Whatever (Brooks) is doing, it doesn’t do anything to (LeBron)…Dillon Brooks, he just wants to be part of his legacy, I guess," said Rui.
